It turns out that my previous statement about LinYutang books in print was a gross mistake. I had quite a surprise when a friend told me about having a copy of another one of his book, published some time back, and it was not one of the three I had in mind (which were re-published by Cultured Lotus). I really wasn't expecting to get anything on that list ( which is what Christmas lists are for, since there is absolutely no sense spoiling what would otherwise be a merry season with the disappointment of getting something you have always wanted ).
The problem is that his best works were written in the 1930's, and this one is written after some three decades, and a conversion back to Christianity.
I am not sure if I should take the chance reading the book, and risk getting awfully disappointed.
