I personally think that altruistic actions are a little bit over-hyped. No one can be seriously altruistic. Everyone seems to want to die for a cause because it is a brave thing to do, but I think it takes an even braver man to see things as what they are and choose not to die for a newspaper-manufactured, gin-induced cause.

The world has ran out of causes to die for a long time ago.

I know my posts have been very sloppy of late. It is almost cringeworthy, which is to say a lot, since I don't normlly cringe at anything I have written within the last three years. Although that may have something to do with the fact that I have not, in fact, been writing a lot in the last three years.
But give me the credit for at least keeping things simple. Inscrutability is the new vogue nowadays, and what could beat being incomprehensible as well? It is after all, so cool to be writing something that no one understands but you. Forgive me for asking, but why do some people bother writing at all?
